| Andrew T. Brooks, M.D.
Dr. Andrew Brooks has been an Orthopaedic Surgeon for the past ten years. He was initially in private practice in Little Rock, Arkansas for two years but has been treating patients in Yolo County for the last eight years. Dr. Brooks recently joined the well established group of Valley Oak Orthopaedics. Dr. Brooks practice emphasizes the treatment of disorders of the hip and knee such as cartilage injuries, meniscal tears, ligament tears, fractures and arthritis. He performs arthroscopic surgery, ligament reconstruction, cartilage repair, fracture repair, and joint replacement. Dr. Brooks graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, spent two years in graduate school at the University of Florida and received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. He then completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine emphasizing surgery of the knee in Perth, Western Australia. Dr. Brooks is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Brooks is on staff at all local hospitals and surgery centers. |
